Jacqueline Fernandez, 38

What is the longest stretch you’ve driven alone? What do you do on the road?
My longest stretch alone was 21 hours, from Austin to Los Angeles. I listen to audio books, playlists; classical music and film scores makes the drive feel more epic (Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer, Nino Rota). I catch up with Chloe or friends on the phone, pull over and take pictures. I like to start my drive around early evening so that I can catch the morning sunrise in the desert. It’s breathtaking.

In working with celebrities for your day job, is there someone you’d still be starstruck by?
Kendrick Lamar, LeBron James, Donald Glover

What are a few things that you always carry with you besides your phone?
My Gucci clutch, it holds my wireless Beats, Issey Miyake roll-on, NARS velvet lip pencil in “DAMNED,” and keys/ID/credit card. I usually always carry around a bottle of Topo Chico or a container of ginger or mint tea or water.

What’s the secret to living a good life?
Self love. It may sound corny, but it’s true — being honest, comfortable and in love with yourself and genuinely enjoying your solitude. Choosing to have a positive attitude, choosing to be nice, choosing to give, choosing self- improvement and choosing self-belief.

Experiencing failure leads to a good life. If you’re failing, you are at least trying to achieve something greater.

Who is your emergency contact?
My sister, Vanessa. I have five sisters, but for some reason I only have her number memorized.
